Visitor Check In At the Main Office
Dear Families,
I would like to welcome all of our families back for the 2022-2023 school year. As a public school district, our primary goals are to provide our students with a world class education and help students to become the best potential version of themselves. Another primary goal is to make sure our campuses are safe environments for all of our students and staff members. Our District needs your help to accomplish these goals.
First, we would encourage our families to volunteer their time whenever possible. In order to maintain rich programs that meet students’ needs and interests, each of our District’s school sites will provide protocols on how to participate for volunteer opportunities, and they will share how to sign up for these opportunities.
Second, we are committed to maintaining the safety of our schools. As part of this commitment, we must know who is on our campus at all times. For this reason, our District’s policy will be that all visitors must check into the school office whenever they are on the school’s campus. In the next few months, we will adopt additional measures to best monitor the visitors coming on our school campuses.
Thank you, in advance, for your help in making this school year both academically engaging and physically safe for our students. Your support in volunteering, as possible, and allowing us to know who is coming on to our school campus is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
JC Baxter
Principal
Aeries Updated for 2022-2023
Aeries is the SVUSD Student Information System and the primary tool of communication. It is required that all families complete the data confirmation in the Aeries portal as soon as possible.
When updating contact information it would be helpful to use a cell phone number as the primary number. This will allow you to receive the text messages the school will frequently send out. Click LINK for directions.
