CFED: 6 Career Fields - Dedicated to Exploration!
Welcome CTE Educators, Guidance Counselors, & 9th-12th Grade Students
If you are a part of the ESU 9 Perkins Consortium, grant funds will support substitute reimbursement for the day.
Please note this schedule is subject to change.8:30 - 9:30 Welcome & Introductions: This involves a hand shake contest as students are to mingle and formally introduce themselves to adults. A rubric/score sheet will be used. A formal presentation will be offered by Kristen Slechta of ESU 9 to set the stage for the day.
9:30 - 11:00 Business/Industry Panel: Both ESU 9 area educators/counselors and students will ask the panel questions regarding their career field. No formal preparation is needed. Questions will range from job duties, aspects of the career, work ethics, educational requirements, etc.
11:00 - 11:45 Student Panel: Here's an opportunity for students to answer questions from teachers and community members. Community members, think about what you want to know about this generation, their aspirations, and career interests. Pose problems or scenarios with which you would like students to provide feedback or possible solutions.

12:45 - 2:45 Student Stations, 25 minutes each with 5 minutes passing time
