Can't Hide Our Wildcat Pride!
Wow! Our Wildcats rocked September. We have so much to celebrate and be thankful for. September was a month of success for everyone! The hard work and accomplishments of our students, staff, and administration are visible all over campus as well as in our community. We can't thank you enough for partnering with us to positively change the lives of those we serve. We have some awesome things planned for October. Title I Announcement
Title I Schoolwide Plan

Our Title I Schoolwide Plan is located in our Title I Parent Resource Area. This area is located on the connecting hallway leading to the gymnasium. It is open daily from 7:30-3:30 p.m. You may stop by at your convenience to review the plan. Should you wish a printed copy, feel free to email our Family Engagement Coordinator, Lauren Olds at lauren.olds@carrollcountyschools.com
Title I Parent Resource Area
We invite you to visit the Title I Parent Resource Area at Glanton Hindsman Elementary. It is located on the connecting hallway leading to the gymnasium and is open during school hours. We have reading materials, flashcards, school project supplies, and parental involvement packets to help you provide assistance to your child's education.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
Road Runners Win Big!
We are so proud of our Road Runners who participated in the Gold Rush 5K! Great work guys. Look at all those medals! A big shout out and thank you to Coach Crawford for maintaining this premier program for our Wildcats! Coach Crawford also placed first in his age group!

Wildcat Awards
We also kept track of the total number of words our students read in the month of September and rewarded the top class in each grade level with ice cream. Students can contribute to their class word count by reading and passing AR quizzes.

This year's Red Ribbon Week theme will help amplify the campaign's mission to encourage children, families, and communities to live healthy, happy, and drug-free lives. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery, and strength.
CHARACTER WORD OF THE MONTH
During the month of October, we will be introducing and promoting the character trait of HUMILITY.

Congratulations to Ms. Stephens!
Our very own Assistant Principal, Ms. Remonica Stephens, was recognized as Carroll County Schools' 24STRONG Award Winner for September. We are so proud of Ms. Stephens. She is a crucial part of what makes GHE so amazing. She brings the F.I.R.E. every day!

Certified and Classified Staff Members of the Month
Congratulations to Shenoka Almon and Linda Stooksbury, our September Certified and Classified staff members of the month. These ladies were recognized for going above and beyond their normal tasks. Thank you ladies for all that you!
