50th Day of School
Dear Parents,
Our first graders are planning a really cool 50th day of school on Thursday, October 16th. Your child will be immersed in the decade of the 50s. We will identify past and present forms of transportation, communication, apparel, and technology.
On Thursday, October 22nd your child may come to school totally decked out 50s style. We have done this unit for several years so you may want to ask someone in the upper grades if they have a costume you can borrow. The following website will provide you with some ideas on apparel: www.fiftiesweb.com
