March is Save Your Vision Month!
Students in 5K and 1st grade will have their hearing and vision tested by one of our school nurses, Kim Allen, on Monday, February 22nd. Families, if your child wears prescription eyeglasses, please make sure to send them with your child on the day of their screening.
If you have a child that is not in Kindergarten or first grade and would like a school nurse to conduct a vision screening, please contact Nurse Kim Allen.
Become a heart hero! Woodfield has raised: $14,475.02!!!
We had another awesome week via the Kids Heart Challenge and we are so grateful for all of our families! Thank you for supporting this tradition by helping your student choose a heart healthy goal, raise donations and/or both. If you have not had a chance to help---there is still time to register. Remember, when REGISTERED online, students will automatically be asked to set a goal of drinking more water, exercising 60 min a day and completing one act of kindness a day. They will also be able to scan their heart heroes to bring them to life, access educational virtual games and use our family fitness tracker – all through their devices! Please remember our teachers/classrooms can earn extra gifts based on those who register:
Teachers with 50% of their students registered will be entered into an inner school drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card
Classes with 75% registered will be given a “Classified Classroom Fun Pack” complete with recess equipment and AHA swag.
To Date- Mrs. Bayley, Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Krebs are in the lead for online registrations! Way to go!
There is still plenty of time to REGISTER and choose a heart-healthy goal: If you have not had a chance, please jump online and register via our school link below:
