Yearbook Sales

Parents and students, due to a record number of early sales, yearbooks are sold out at this time. It is possible that we will receive extras when the books are delivered in May, and we will offer these for sale to the students on the waiting list. To add your name to the waiting list, email the student name and ID# to Mrs. Ingram, the yearbook advisor, at pingram@pasco.k12.fl.us. Extra yearbooks will be sold in order of the date and time your email is received.

There will be no school from 3/14-3/21 as we will be out for spring break. Monday 3/21 is a teacher planning day. Students will return to begin 4th quarter on Tuesday 3/22/22.

Prom this year will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022. We will host prom aboard the Starship Cruise out of 603 Channelside Dr. Boarding begins at 8:30PM and we will return to the dock at 11:30PM. Tickets for the prom will be $100 with dinner included. Tickets will be on sale for seniors only from 2/28- 3/2. Tickets will be on sale for Juniors and seniors from 3/3-3/11. Capacity for the ship is 500, therefore, tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and final sales will be 3/11/22 after B lunch. Students wishing to bring a guest must pick up a guest request form in the main office or download below. It is recommended that students pick up these forms now so guests can be cleared prior to ticket sales. Dress code can be found in the prom agreement below.

COVID Testing

COVID Testing Update

  • The Nomi Health COVID testing site at the District Office in Land O’Lakes WILL BE OPEN during Spring Break.
  • The site will be open 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
  • The testing site will now be administering BOTH Rapid Antigen and PCR tests. Anyone being tested can choose either type of COVID test but cannot have both tests administered on the same day.
    • Antigen test results are usually received within the hour.
    • PCR test results are usually received within 24 hours, at this time, but varies depending on the demand.
  • Testing continues to be FREE staff, students, and community members.

We have been communicating home prior to our testing dates, if you receive this communication, please ensure that your student arrives to school on time and reports to their testing location. Many of the assessments are graduation requirements and it is imperative that students attend on their scheduled days. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Teacher Appreciation

If you or your business would like to donate to our teachers for appreciation week, please reach out to skoslin@pasco.k12.fl.us. We could use gift cards, baskets, or any other items to show our teachers how much they are valued.

Congratulations to our Winterguard and Band

Our WCHS Concert Band and WCHS Wind Ensemble performed at District Concert Music Performance Assessment for the first time since Covid. Both concert ensembles performed beautifully and earned straight superior ratings, the highest possible rating, which has not happened in school history. We are so proud of our band.

Our WCHS Winterguard made school history by competing in their first WGI Regional. The team made finals at WGI regionals which is very difficult to do when the team exceeded teams that regularly compete in that division. As a result, they are promoted to Scholastic A for the rest of the season. Way to go Winterguard.
