Calendar and Membership Renewal Information

We need photos of your dog!! We have a short turnaround time for this year's calendar and we need you to submit your wonderful pictures for inclusion in the 2015 Barbet calendar. This calendar is our main source of club revenue, so keep them in mind for yourself and for stocking stuffers this holiday season! Please submit your high quality photos to the club mailbox.

Diverse and numerous club membership is vital to our growth toward AKC recognition and we need all US Barbet owners to maintain their membership in the club and encourage other Barbet fanciers to join us. You don't have to own a Barbet to join our club, and your support provides our wonderful breed with a solid future!

Membership renewals and calendar order forms will be sent out soon.

The positions of President and Secretary will be elected in December. If you are interested in serving the club in a board position, please contact us.

Increasing our AKC Presence

AKC FSS Registration Grows

There have been 4 American Barbet litters to date this calendar year. Our AKC registration numbers have significantly increased as each litter was entered into the AKC registry. Barbets are participating in several venues, from Conformation, Obedience and Agility to Dock Jumping and Therapy work. The Barbet is proving to be a formidable competitor in AKC competition as well as providing wonderful companionship.
Keep up to date with the AKC FSS news:

Barbet Health Survey

You are encouraged to add your dog to the anonymous database. The survey is located on the OFA website. If you previously entered your Barbet and his/her health has changed, please add this information as well. As time goes on, our database will become an important tool in assessing the health of our beautiful breed.

All health testing can be reported on the OFA website as well. Barbet currently listed can be found at this link. Generally, results of hip and elbow xrays, and eye checks can be found here. Other health tests may be included.

We would love to feature your dog. Please send us your news and photos!!
