Catholic Education week is an opportunity to publicly celebrate our mission, our successes, our students, and our future together in service of the Gospels. We will kick off our week with the presentation of the winning entries to our annual GrACE Committee’s Celebrating Catholic Education contest. This document will present you with guidelines, ideas, and resources for a great week of celebration. Feel free to contact Paul or Andrea with questions.

  • Sunday, May 9: GrACE Celebrating Catholic Ed contest recipients announced

  • Provincial Prayer with the Bishops of Alberta shared virtually at 11:00 a.m. each day. The focus will be a devotion to St. Joseph.

  • Thursday, May 13 Provincial Day of Prayer for Alberta’s Catholic Schools.

  • Thursday, May 13 is World Catholic Education Day. All are invited to wear blue in support of Catholic Education.

5 Marks in 5 days. Focus on one mark each day and post pictures related to each mark on the appropriate day

Prayer Intentions for Catholic Education Week

  • We pray for all educators, administrators and staff who dedicate themselves daily to authentic Catholic education

  • We pray for all students, for their safety and their learning, that they may know the love of God

  • We pray for all families, that they may grow in faith and unite in their prayers

Starting Monday, May 10th K - 4 Students will shift to Online Learning until Tuesday, May 25th

Students are expected to attend online learning and attendance will be taken in the am and pm as usual. Teachers will communicate the google meet times to students and parents. Please excuse your child if they will be absent from online learning using the usual SchoolMessenger system.

Please note the information that was sent out on Friday. Please go into your child's google classroom for the daily lessons.

Thank you for your patience as we stay at home to learn. If you have any queries, that your child's teacher cannot answer, please call the school office @ 780 467 7972. Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Antoniuk will be in the school every day.

Also, ALL CHILDREN in the Pathways Program will be IN School.

Tech for Current Grade 3 Students

Students entering grade 4 next year will need to have a CHROMEBOOK, to do their schooling. It must be a Chromebook. Please note the EICS ONE to ONE policy linked below. Also, Staples has supported EICS in the past three years with some great purchase plans.

Busing Information 2021-2022

All students transported to/from an EICS school on a school bus must apply for busing and require a bus pass. Click here
