Winter Concerts 2014

To showcase their hard work and warm up for their evening performances, our student musicians performed for their peers and the Tamanend Staff in a preview concert two Fridays ago. Last Monday and Tuesday evenings our Tamanend community packed the house to hear the music of Tamanend. What a treat is was! We congratulate and thank our music students and staff for all of their dedication and hard work which led to outstanding concert performances.

Our 9th Grade Sewing Class worked with the Little Dresses for Africa program to make dresses from pillowcases. This project allowed our students to practice their sewing skills while creating a dress for a little girl in need. Debbie Linders, a representative for the program from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Doylestown, came to Tamanend to talk to the class about their work and how it will positively impact the life of a child.

Lost & Found

We have gathered all the lost and forgotten items. If you are missing clothes, shoes, coats, glasses, or a phone from the school year, please visit Tamanend's Main Office Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.. All items not claimed will be donated during the winter break.

TMS CB South Lacrosse Players Give Back

Recently the CB South Lacrosse team staged its annual food drive for NOVA. This is an incredible organization dedicated to helping victims of violence in Bucks County that the CB South Boys Lacrosse team has been supporting for a number of years. This year the team donated almost twice as much food as the agency requested, and were able to help 12 families. 3 Tamanend students, Joe M, Colin J, and Bobby S, joined the group of players and parents who delivered what was collected to NOVA.
