January 2021 Counselor Connection
Liberty High School Counseling Newsletter
Work Hard. Be Nice.
Sometimes, we’re just not feeling it.
While our body language affects how others see us, it also changes how we see ourselves.
Social psychologists argue that "power posing" — standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don't feel confident — can boost feelings of confidence, and impacts our chances for success. It increases testosterone and serotonin making us feel instantly ZESTY!
This is classic “fake it ‘til you make it” stuff.
Try out a power pose for yourself!

Please follow the steps below to request your mid-year report:
1. Request your updated transcript via Parchment after 1/11/2021. For all mid-year report requests mark “HOLD FOR GRADES” to assure first semester grades are reflected on the transcript. (Transcripts will be sent out after Jan 29th, at the earliest.)

Students will have between 1/11/2021 and 2/19/2021 to request their mid-year report. Students will be able to confirm receipt of the mid-year report through each individual college account or through Common Application. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your counselor.
