Licensed Guest Teachers
Once everything is completed for the classroom teacher and anywhere else in the building needing help (and if the 4 hours or 8 hours are still not complete), then Guest Teachers should check in with a secretary to support the building until the 4 or 8 hour shift is complete.
*This does not apply to Guest EAs. Guest EAs only need to work their posted hours.
Guest Teacher/EA Benefits
Requirements to get benefits the next year:
Working 100 days one year gets benefits the next year
Must work 80 days each year to maintain
Some Guest Teacher trainings count as PDUs toward teacher license renewal
This year we don’t need PDUs, but we don’t know when they’ll be reinstated
Guest Teacher Classroom Management training will count, either at hiring or later
We're Here for You!
