WINTER FUN!!!
POLAR BEARS, PENGUINS, SNOW, AND SNOWMEN
Dear parents and guardians,
I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break! For the next couple of weeks, we will be talking about themes centering around winter activities, clothes we wear during winter and arctic animals. This week and into next, we will be talking about what we wear in the winter (hats, mittens, scarves etc.) and activities we can do in the snow. We haven't had much snow this year or last so the students might not have a lot of firsthand experience that they can remember.
Next week, we will be focusing on snow and snowmen and we will be talking about arctic animals the following week. We have talked previously about hibernation and how animals use this to help save food when food is hard to find. Since birds do not hibernate, we are going to make pine cone bird feeders to hang on your tree.
