These Jim Crow Laws affected all African Americans in the South. These laws made it so that African Americans and whites were separated from one another. These laws took action in the early 1890s.

Where did these affect people, and why

They affected people everywhere, in the North in the South. They have to have access to public places. They made these because they didn't want too much contact with African Americans.
