Below you will find helpful information to include course selection worksheets, course selection catalog, contact information, and other important Briscoe information. Course Selection Worksheets

Please download the form below that indicates your child's grade level. Review the worksheet with your child and make the appropriate selections. Once you have done this, please email your child's counselor his/her course requests. For more information on course descriptions, please review the NISD Middle School Course Catalog (found below).

*Please note that this catalog includes course selections across the district, and not all courses are offered at Briscoe. The only courses available at Briscoe are those on the course selection worksheets.

Briscoe 101

School Time: 8:40a.m.-3:50p.m. Doors open at 7:40am.


Schedule: Classes are 45 minutes in length, with the exception of 6th and 7th grade English/Reading block-90 minutes. Students have a 4 minute passing period.


Lunches: COST: Breakfast $1.00; Lunch $2.35 *Free and Reduced lunch applications available upon request or you may contact NISD Food Services at 210-397-4517, or visit http://childnutrition.nisd.net/


Supplies: Please refer to Briscoe Supply List by grade level. This can be found on the campus web page.


Gym Clothes: All students in PE or Athletics will need a uniform. Uniforms can be purchased through the PE Coaches. PE sets are $15 each. Please see coaches for Athletics uniform prices and continue to check our campus web page for summer sales dates.


Dress Code: Please follow the NISD dress code as outlined in NISD Handbook. *Shorts are not allowed.


Cell Phones: Students may have cell phones, but they must turn them off during school hours. If they are using without permission, staff may collect phones and parents must come to retrieve it in the VPO office.


Transportation: Visit www.nisd.net. Click on “Boundaries and Buses” on the lower right side or call 210-397-0874 for your assigned school bus information.
