Minnewaska Memo
Minnewaska Area Elementary and Intermediate News
This Week
Wow how is it even possible that a month ago we were wondering what the young minds entering our classroom might be like and here we are with a classroom family only a few weeks later. September is a month of beautiful changes and new normals. This is where the magic begins. I hope you've had a magical month to get to know each of your students and build relationships. I challenged each of our teachers to think about who they've already built a relationships with. I challenge all of you reading this to think about this as well. Who have you gotten to know and who do you need to make a priority in the next couple weeks?
Testing and data meetings are behind us and intervention systems are about to roll out. I can't wait to see how we grow every child every day.
BENCHMARK ONLINE
Lisa Silbernick will be joining MAES at 2:55 on Tuesday. Please make sure to have at least one teacher/grade level attend. The goal is for all MAES staff to be able to log in to their own Benchmark Online system rather than the ones created this spring for training.
Building relationships is not rocket science, but maybe the most important part of your work everyday!
