Egypt has two deserts the Eastern and the Western desert. The desert was hard to get across. The Nile River helped keep invaders out because the Nile River was hard to get across. Plus the Nile River had cataracts.
Most people that live in Egypt live in Nile Valley. In Ancient Egypt it was mostly desert. The Nile River is in between two deserts so it divides the Eastern desert and the Western desert. Without the Nile River no one could live there because it would be like a desert.
The Ancient Egyptian social hierarchy is were they are by rank or class. For example on the outside we have gods then when we start the inside at the top we have Pharaohs then we have Vizier next we have Nobles and Priests After that we have Scribes and Soldiers after that we have Craftsmen then finally we have Farmers and Slaves.
