Ms. Jasmine's Women in STEM highlight

It feels like Women's History Month was cut short due to everything happening in the world in March. I want to continue to highlight amazing women specifically in STEM and Medicine for the rest of April to make aware their amazing accomplishments. Take a moment to read this article on Tierra Guin, a MIT graduate who was working with NASA before graduating college and it an amazing woman. Spring Flower Art Collage

Draw a basic flower with 5 petals, stem, and grass. Make sure your flower is large and fills the paper top to bottom. Fill in the petals with torn or cut pieces from magazine pages. Stay with one color for each petal area (shades of red for one flower petal). Use green cut-out pieces for the stem, and you can add your own drawings of flowers to either side of this large flower. MAKE IT COLORFUL. Put it on your refrigerator for all to see!
