MONITOR
A Monitor is a electronic visual display to allow the computer to communicate with the user in much the same way as a television. Originally Monitors used cathode ray tubes, then and most commonly used today are the liquid crystal displays (LCD) and now, in some cases, they even use Organic light-emitting diode. In all cases these will be encased and have their own electronics.
