Dispute over the 38th parallel

On the morning of June 25th, 1950 North Korean military crossed the 38th parallel into South Korea towards Seoul the North Koreans where better armed and trained compared to the South Korea which had light infantry guns, inferior artillery and no tanks or combat aircraft. Immediately after the North Koreans invaded the South Koreans went to the United Nations Security Council for help, the UNSC ordered an immediate cease fire and withdrawal of North Korean forces that however didn't happen afterwards the UNSC sent 16 nations troops
