highlight of the week

Big picture

The AP Biology class went to Enanta Pharmaceuticals last Thursday to learn about various educational and career paths. They were given a tour of the lab spaces and spoke with scientist about their work and passions.

No School

Just a reminder that there is no school, district-wide, next Tuesday, November 8th.

WHS Clubs

As a reminder, here is a list of our 2022-2023 clubs and activities. If your student is interested, please have them reach out to Assistant Principal Mr. Brewer.

winter donation and store

Watertown Mutual Aid Network is hosting a Winter Donation Drive & Free Store on Sunday, November 6th at Ballroom in Boston (100 Parker Street, Watertown, MA). Donations of winter coats, children's winter clothes, and personal care items can be donated from 10:30am-12:30pm. Individuals and families can then "shop" for free from 1:00-2:30pm. This event is open to anyone.

senior portraits

Two additional dates for Senior Portraits have been added and will take place on Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4. Please visit Legacy Studio's site here to select a sitting package and time.

WHS At fenway!

WHS Football will take on Belmont for the 100th time, at Fenway Park, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 4:00pm. Every student of Watertown High School will get a free ticket. Student ticket reservation deadline is TODAY. See this website for student information. Any family that wants to purchase tickets can do so here. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our football program, and we couldn't be more excited!


Keep warm for the Thanksgiving Day game and celebrate the 100th Watertown vs. Belmont football game in style while supporting the PTSO. Hats are $15 and all proceeds support WHS students and activities. Students can purchase the hats at lunch this Friday.

Sports S'more

Athletics has opened registration for winter sports. The winter season starts on Monday, November 28th. Please be sure to register your athletes by Monday, November 21st so we can clear students to participate in the first day of tryouts.There will be a parent information meeting this Wednesday at 6pm in the WHS auditorium.

Seeking STEM Professionals for Classroom visits

Watertown High School is creating a database of STEM professionals/companies that would be willing to share their experiences with our students through classroom presentations throughout the school year. By providing this information to teachers, they can target presentations to topics being taught. If you are interested in being included on our list, please complete this STEM Professional Database Entry Google Form. You will need to be logged into a Gmail account to complete this form.
