Lilburn Middle School Newsletter - FEBRUARY 2018
Principal's Corner 02/27/2018
Greetings to All:
We would like to thank you for making our Digital Learning Days a success! Lilburn Middle School is on the move with reading! Please continue to make sure that your child brings and appropriate book of his/her choice daily. The more that you read the smarter you become! In order to ensure your child’s continued success, it is extremely important for all students to be present and ready to learn. In addition, students must read for 20-30 minutes each night, engage in learning daily, and complete all homework. Please encourage your child to read at home too. We hope to see you at our LMS GMAS Literacy Night on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 6:00PM. Please plan to enjoy an evening of family fun and learning! Continue to check our LMS calendar on the school website for all future events.
Please check that your children are recording homework and key dates in their student agenda books. They can purchase a replacement agenda book from their grade level clerk for $5. LMS Wednesday Folders help us to provide important information to you. Please make sure that your child is bring his/her LMS Wednesday folder home weekly. They should be returned back to school every Thursday. Progress reports will be sent home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Please make sure that you are monitoring your children’s grade on the Parent Portal. Once you set up your account, please look for your activation email. You must activate your account before receiving access to your child’s grades. Please stop by our Parent Center if you need help or have further questions.
