Building a District Integrated Continuous Improvement Team
Description:
This professional learning will engage district stakeholders in leading and learning the various systems and tools necessary to lead continuous improvement in their districts. Topics included within the three day event include: Engaging stakeholders, MICIP 101, Whole Child Connections, Building strong systems and making connections to current improvement processes. This will lead to the development of a district team to lead continuous improvement.

Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child Continuous Improvement
Description:
This professional learning will engage district/school improvement leaders in deepening their understanding of the WSCC model. Participants will engage in a tool to assist with the alignment of current improvement efforts to the model. They will also begin to explore the 5 tenets associated with the model and build a picture of how the district/school can design/build or connect to the tools available.

Leading School-based Continuous Improvement
Description:
This professional learning event will build the capacity of district teams to support school-based continuous improvement through a district-wide lens. District teams will deepen understanding of the district-wide systems and structures that are essential for developing effective school-level improvement teams. Tools and protocols to support district and school teams in leading continuous improvement will be shared.Who:

Planning Strategically for District Continuous Improvement
Description:
Learners will explore the various tools available to assist in the development of a cohesive district improvement plan. Tools which enhance stakeholder involvement and looking at asset based processes to develop a meaningful and actionable plan.

Integrating Frameworks for Systemic Improvement
Description:
This one-day professional learning will support District Teams in identifying and examining the multiple frameworks (i.e., MTSS, CFE, SEL, District Improvement Framework, etc.) that inform continuous improvement and how they can be integrated through the Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process. Teams will use fidelity tools to assess how their system is currently functioning and design plans to streamline the structures and processes that support systemic improvement.
