The Weekly Connection
Updates from the Principal's Office - August 21st, 2022
Message from Mrs. Jones
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year!
We had a wonderful first week on campus. Students were able to experience a Welcome Back Pep Rally on Monday, have been doing a wonderful job of demonstrating Warrior PRIDE, and are setting the tone for an amazing year!
This is the first week we will experience an Early Release Wednesday, where school will release at 2:44pm. Bell schedules and early release dates are linked under "Resources" below.
Next week we invite all families to join us for Back-to-School Night, which is being held on Wednesday, August 31st from 5:30-7:30pm. Directly following Back-to-School Night, senior families are invited to a Class of 2023 Info Night in the FHS Gym. We hope to see you there!
If you haven't already, please review the Student/Parent Handbook together. I want to specifically highlight the ways in which students demonstrate Warrior PRIDE, and how we invite families to support Warrior PRIDE; both are also included below for reference.
We would also like to invite you to review the information distributed during registration about our new program "5 Star Students." This platform allows us to digitize recognition of students who are demonstrating Warrior PRIDE in classes and out on campus, student check-in at events like dances, and even hall passes. Students may also choose to download the 5 Star app; here they have access to a digital version of their ID card, can check in to school events, and can track point totals which can be used toward rewards on campus.
If you are new to the Weekly Connection, please take a moment to review some of the resources available below. If there is something you need, please feel free to reach out by telephone at (760) 723-6300 x3102 or x3103.
Let's make this a great week, Warriors!
