Tis the Season, Take Two
Polar Express and Toys for Tots
My cup runneth over...
SSgt. Hutchison, from Toys for Tots, came to visit our class on Friday. He talked to them about Toys for Tots and his job with the Marines (he came fully dressed) before he picked up the toys. What a blessing these toys will be for children in our area.
***Do you see the reading, writing, math, and thinking that went into this??? AMAZING!! Click on the link below to see for yourself.

Adding new centers and tweaking the old...
*We also added some writing and math to the "Patriot Cafe." Learners sign up for a job; waiter, chef, customer, cashier. The waiter shares the menu with the customer, and takes their order. The chef prepares the selection. Finally, the cashier adds up the 3 prices.
