Week 38 for Families and Community May 22-26, 2023
Dear Altadena Eliot Arts Families,
With just 8 short days of school left, I am grateful for all we have achieved together. Our students have learned and grown both academically and socially. They have painted and sculpted, danced and sang their way through a beautiful school year that has been much more normal than those past few years. As we move into the home stretch, there's a bit more work to do before we bid adieu for the summer.
Our last school tours of the year were packed! Parents are coming from other districts and from all across Sierra Madre, Altadena and Pasadena to find out about our amazing K-8 programs! See the photos below.
We are in need of one more host family for our third intern. Please contact Dr. S ASAP if you are interested.
It's classified employees week! Help us celebrate by thanking all those employees who are not teachers. They are the secretaries, attendance clerks, security guards, cafeteria staff, instructional aides and our PAWs team members. These are the team members who keep our schools running behind the scenes or sometimes the first and last folks on campus keeping our students happy and safe.
We are looking for volunteers to support our 8th grade events. Please sign up here: https://forms.gle/uxPcKP8998qmtb4o7
