The Story of Hiroshima

Hiroshima was destroyed on Monday, August 6, 1945, 8:15 am by the nuclear bomb named little boy. It was dropped on hiroshima by an american B-29 Bomber named the Enola gay which was flown by Colonel Paul Tibbets. At the detonation of the bomb an estimated 80,000 people died instantly. At the end of the year the death toll doubled to 135,000 from injuries and radiation from the bomb. 70% of the buildings were destroyed with another 7% severely damaged. The bomb was dropped by the United States Army Air Forces at the end of world war 2.
