Stonybrook Red Storm Forecast
May 17, 2021
From Principal Smith
We want to remind you that ALL Warren students will automatically be enrolled as IN-PERSON students for next school year.
It does not matter if students are fully virtual or attend school in-person now.
ALL students will be scheduled as IN-PERSON next year.
If you do not want your student to attend IN-PERSON classes next year, you MUST complete the 2021-2022 Virtual/Online Learning Program application.
The number of virtual seats for students is limited. Therefore, we encourage you to request a spot early before they all fill and you are placed on a waiting list.
If you are placed on the waitlist, your student MUST attend in-person until a virtual spot becomes available.
We are coming close to the end of another school year! It has been a difficult year, trying to navigate learning and safety during a pandemic. Hopefully this upcoming school year will bring us closer to normal. We are planning for next school year already. The teachers and staff want to make sure that we meet every student where they are academically and social emotionally and give each student what they need on an individual basis. We will slowly amp the rigor of our lesson next year while also making sure that each lesson is fun, engaging, and relevant to our students.
The last week of school we are planning some fun activities to create fun experiences for our students. Some of the activities will be a cookout during lunch, field day, 5th and 6th grade kickball tournament, student vs. staff basketball and soccer games, as well as an award ceremony for each grade level. Please encourage your scholar/s to finish the school year applying our CORE expectations in every area of the school so that we can have a safe and fun end to the school year.
Have a wonderful week!
Mr. Smith
