Art Room Mosaic: Volunteer Opportunity
Want to be a part of a permanent art installment in our school?
Prairie students will have the opportunity to participate in creating a permanent tile mosaic on the Art Room entrance wall. We are looking for volunteers from each classroom to assist a few students at a time on their Art Day from January-May. Think something similar to library helper, except messier.
Grandparents and family friends’ welcome!

Prairie Lego League Team Achievement
The Prairie Lego League, Astro Panthers, qualified for the next round of competition to be held at Union Station on Jan 28th. This is the first time our school has qualified from the preliminary rounds. It is really impressive for our kids as competition can have kids up to 16 years of age. Our Astro Panthers were against other teams filled with middle schoolers! The kids have worked really hard meeting twice a week/ roughly 4 hours a week since early September.
We are so proud of our Astro Panthers and thanks to the coaches, Jaime Peterson and Khurram Khan, for making this opportunity happen for our students! You can view the trophy and banner in the trophy case in our entryway.
