Portage Township Schools | An Indiana "B" School District!
December 13, 2019
This is also the season of giving, and several of our school groups and community organizations have organized fundraisers, food drives, shopping trips, and more for our families. We would like to thank all of our groups who have worked to make sure that all of our students and families have a wonderful holiday season.
There is a lot of good news in this newsletter, and we encourage you to see all of the great things that our students are accomplishing.
PHS THESPIANS HOST THE POLAR EXPRESS
All Aboard! The PHS Thespians are inviting you to experience the Polar Express!
Once you arrive at the station, your conductor will invite you onto the train where you will be treated to a performance of "Hot Chocolate" by the PHS Choraliers. Of course, you will receive the hot chocolate as well. Soon after, your conductor will escort you to the North Pole!
Included in your ticket is the chance to meet Santa, play games, and make some crafts. Small snacks will also be available as well. The story of "The Polar Express" will be read aloud to all in the North Pole. The children will be able to sing along to some Christmas music while enjoying a dance party with the elves and the big man.
Tickets are $5 at the door; adults are free.
We hope you will take a ride with us to the North Pole!
