Thanks Parents!
It has been an honor for me to teach your child this semester. The support you have provided is appreciated and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the time and energy you have put forth ensuring your child has met the assignment deadlines. This newsletter will provide you with information about upcoming dates, and the final exam requirements.
Upcoming Dates

- May 2, Final date to submit April 28, assignments late
- May 4-5 Final Exam Available
- May 6 - Official Last Day of Class
- May 12 - Grades can be accessed from the Student Portal
Final Exam Information
The final exam will count for 20% of your child's final grade. The comprehensive objective exam will be accessible at 12:00 midnight on May 4 and will be available through 11:59 p.m. May 5. Your child will have one attempt to complete the exam and can do so on May 4 or May 5. Noted below are details regarding your child's exam.
Digital Design B
The objective comprehensive exam will include a combination of 50 true/false, multiple choice, and fill-in-the-blank questions. You child will have 90 minutes to attempt the exam. The exam will cover information from the Animation Unit through the Employability Skills Unit.
Introduction to Digital Technology B
The objective comprehensive exam will include a combination 50 true/false and multiple choice questions. You child will have 90 minutes to attempt the exam. The exam will cover information from the FBLA Entrepreneurship Unit through the Information Technology Careers Part 2 Unit.
Introduction to Digital Technology AB
The objective comprehensive exam will include 60 true/false and multiple choice questions. You child will have 90 minutes to attempt the exam. The exam will cover information from the FBLA Leadership Development Unit through the Information Technology Careers Part 2 Unit.
I conducted a final exam synchronous session on April 26. Information regarding the structure of the final exam and study resources were shared. The session was recorded and your child can access it from the User Links section on his/her course home page. Please encourage your child to access the recording if he/she did not attend the live session.

Student Course Survey
Details regarding the end of course survey have been released to your child. Please encourage him/her to complete the survey. It is our desire to provide quality customer service and a positive learning environment. Your child's feedback will help us determine if we are on track or can improve. I will award extra points towards your child's lowest test grade if he/she completes the survey by May 6.
Final Grade Determination
Your child's final grade will be based on the following evaluation.
Assignments/Discussions - 30%
Projects - 30%
Quizzes - 20%
Final Exam - 20%
The official grade will be viewable in the Student Portal on May 12. If your child is attending a private or public school, his/her official grade report can be retrieved by an official at the school. If your child is homeschooled, he/she can print the final grade from their student account.
