Each year in May, CCA holds an election for our Board of Directors. There will be 3 open positions. 2 of the requirements to be considered as a CCA Board member are:

1. Potential candidates must attend a minimum of two (2) regular CCA Board meetings during the nine (9) months prior to the April Board meeting. The February & March Board meetings are eligible meetings for this requirement.

2. Potential candidates must interview with at least one (1) current Board member prior to the nomination form submittal deadline (between March 27 - April 10, 2023).

The candidate forms and biography forms will be shared in March 2023. For the complete Election Procedure Packet please see attached.

A big thanks to all of you who participated in the annual CCA Teacher Feedback and School Climate Survey. The data collection window is now closed and the data is being reviewed. Feedback received for teachers will be used in their performance evaluations for the year. Administration and the SAC will be looking at the Climate data. Based on your responses, appropriate actions will be taken immediately, if necessary. The data will be compiled and shared with the CCA Board, the SAC, and with the CCA community, in adherence to confidentiality laws, at the May Town Hall.

Update your contact info: Parents and guardians for both Household 1 and Household 2 can now update Additional Contact information using the Guardian Update Tile located in mycherrycreek. Please note: If a Household 1 parent or guardian has not completed Parent Forms, they will not have access to the Guardian Update tile. Household 2 parents or guardians will only be able to access the tile if they have a second household setup in PowerSchool. If you need to create a second household, please follow these instructions.

Today marks the 100 day in Kindergarten! They are celebrating today in so many fun ways! The students brought in their hundred day projects where they had to have a hundred of something. They also got to dress up, if they wanted, like they were 100 years old! Be sure to ask your Kindergartner about all the fun they had today, on this 100th day of school!

Parents, each year we put together a slideshow video of our 8th graders and show it at graduation. We are asking that you please fill out this form in order to submit a baby/young child photo of your 8th grader and a current photo of them to be shared at graduation. The Multicultural Festival Date has been released: Friday, March 10th at 5:30 pm.

And we are looking for the following:

Chair for Multicultural Festival: Learn the ropes and chair the event!

Country Leads - Lead a country and receive double volunteer time! We will provide reimbursements for countries and will limit the total number of countries!

Performers: Come perform your talents and represent a country! Maximum 9 performers

Volunteers: Sign-up for pre, during, and post-event help. The more the merrier!
