Hello KRMS families,

I hope everyone is enjoying their winter vacation. As a reminder, our third quarter ends on Friday, April 7, 2023. Please continue to check your child's grades on JumpRope so there are no surprises come the time report cards are emailed home. It is our hope that fewer students will allow missing assignments to accumulate and will establish stronger work habits as they work through the second half of the school year. We know that absences have presented challenges for many students and will work together with them to find solutions that will help them get caught up.

Arts Knight 2023 will be held on March 16, 2023 from 6:00-8:00. This is a collaborative project between staff and students at the Middle and High School. An art show will be in the lobby featuring both 2D and 3D works of students in grades 7-12. Band and Chorus performances will take place on the half hour in the auditorium. The schedule is as follows:

6:00 KRMS Chorus

6:30 KRHS Chorus

7:00 KRMS Band

7:30 KRHS Band

For those students performing, we are asking that they arrive 30-minutes before their performance time at the middle school. The students will walk from the middle school to the Arts Center to perform. The concert attire for students performing will be the same as the December concert: Music department t-shirt and dark pants.

Spring sports are starting up soon. Softball tryouts will be held on Monday 3/13 and Thursday 3/16 from 2:30 - 4:45. Baseball tryouts will be held on Wednesday 3/15 and Friday 3/17 from 2:30 - 4:45. Please have your student listen to announcements for when track and field will begin practice.
