Lakeview's In The Know

T-BIRDS SOAR Better Together!
We had a great week at Lakeview! We started our Friday morning with a double rainbow above our school. What a great way to start the day! If your students went shopping this week, they should have brought their gifts home today. Thank you to all of our wonderful PTA volunteers for making this happen for our students.
Congratulations to Gage Johnson for winning the Lakeview Spelling Bee today! The second-place representative will be Autumn Gouldman. We held a runoff for second place between siblings, Autumn and Tapu Gouldman. All participants did an outstanding job!
Please remind your students to check Lost and Found. With the cold weather in the morning and nice weather in the afternoon, many coats and hoodies are left behind.
Remember to check out the special dress days taking place next week. Thank you Student Council for keeping it fun before the break. Also, remember there will be ice skating at Crest on Tuesday the 14th. I hope you can all join in the fun!
As always, we are here to help your family in any way we can. Please contact me at email@example.com or at school 366-5899 if I can assist in any way.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Stay safe and well!

Lakeview Water Bottle
If you see a red water bottle at home as in this picture, please send it back to school for your child to keep in the classroom.
Indian Education Native American Festival
Our third grade students participated in an Indian Education Native American Festival on December 1st. There were fun crafts (cornhusk dolls and Creators Eye) along with a buffalo box presentation. Students enjoyed the afternoon of learning about our Native American culture and storytelling traditions.
