The Powhatan settled in the Tidewater region Northeast, North America. They settled there because instead of hunting and moving from one place to another, they needed to start to stay and farm.
Culture
Their culture was To fish or hunt for food as a grown man and farm food as a grown women.During mealtime the people would go home to feed their family with the food they got. The Powhatan tribe were known for their beliefs. They had a belief that corn and beans were gifts from the creator. They would hold ceremonies to honor the creator and the spirits.
Depending on nature
The Powhatan tribe used nature for everything they make.They used wood for houses, canoes and fire.Deer is used for food, cloth, clothes and sheets.Reeds were used to make houses.
