Respiration & Photosynthesis
What is photosynthesis?
Photosynthesis is the process in which green plants and other organisms use sunlight to make food from sunlight, carbon dioxide and water.
What is respiration?
Respiration is a process of living organisms involving the production of energy, typically with the intake and release of carbon dioxide from the oxidation of complex organic substances.
Respiration and photosynthesis
Respiration- in physiology, respiration is defined as the transport of oxygen from the outside air to the cells within tissues, and the transport of carbon dioxide in the opposite direction.
Photosynthesis- is a process used by plants and other organisms to convert light energy, normally from the Sun, into chemical energy that can be later released to fuel the organisms' activities.
