School Librarian Job Qualifications
Supervise and manage the library. Provide services and a wide variety of resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve problems. Serve as teacher, materials expert, and curriculum adviser to involve the library in the instructional programs of the school. Promote pleasure-reading activities that foster the development of life-long readers.

Librarians help student access information, and use online resources to complete classwork. Librarians work to teach students how to access information. "You don't have to know everything, you just have to know where to find the answers."
~~Reading~~
Librarians work to maintain a library collection of books that are relevant to what the students want to read. We find books that are informational and can support the curriculum being taught, as well as books that the students will enjoy reading for enjoyment.

Librarian share stories, and information with students. The library is a safe place where students can come and relax, find information, and social in reading clubs, poetry clubs, and technology clubs.
