Students (& Staff) in Action!
Wisconsin waters is the theme for this year's state Capitol Holiday tree in Madison and our students were invited to decorate the tree by sending handmade ornaments showing what Wisconsin's waterways mean to them. AND, our decorations were hanging low enough to see. If you get a chance to visit the Capitol it is a beautiful sight!
Salutes
This month we celebrate those who help both our students and staff keep wellness at the forefront of our lives. At our most recent inservices we were fortunate enough to have Ms. Lisa Thom provide yoga for our team and Ms. Minda Devorkin conduct a meditation session with us. Each of these helped center and focus us for the day. We were further given ideas of how to extend this work to our students to help them!
Master Duke Lee presented the School Board with a check of over $300. Duke Lee works regularly with our students during summer school and also impacts the community with his Tae Kwon Do studio. We thank him for his support of our students and district.

Happy New Year 2023
Open Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year
The Public school open enrollment program in Wisconsin allows parents to apply for their children to attend a public school in a school district other than the one in which they reside. The regular open enrollment application period for the 2023-2024 school year begins on February 6, 2023, and ends at 4:00 pm on April 28, 2023. The best way to apply is online, the online application is available at https://dpi.wi.gov/open-enrollment during the application period. The Holy Hill Area School District will review all Open Enrollment applications received during the application period and approve applications within grade levels that have approved open seat availability. These decisions are based on the Holy Hill Area School Board approved number of seats available as determined at the January 23, 2023 school board meeting for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
