For anyone who has ever spent time trying to convince a child that cleaning their room is a worthwhile experience, this month's Learning Focus is for you! KidsHealth says there are three steps necessary to accomplishing any goal: get organized, stay focused and “get it done.” When it comes to processing learning, studying new information, and managing the school workload, organization is key. For many children, being organized is a vital first step in becoming a successful student. Good organizational skills help children navigate the demands of learning both in and outside of the classroom.
