Awesome Animals!
Learning about different kinds of animals for K-2 Students
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade Interactive Television (ITV) Project
Each class will choose one animal to learn about. Students, led by their teacher, will research information about the animal and create clues to share with their partner-class during the live two-way interactive video connection.
During the preparation and the early part of the video-connection date scheduled, students will keep the animal a secret from their partner class! The clues given will help the other class determine which animal is being kept as a “secret.”
Awesome animals Program Description: “It’s a Secret”
Students in two classes, which will be paired by TWICE, will each choose one animal to learn more about to enhance the study of animals. To enhance the opportunity for the schools to meet, the instructors will share with their teacher-partner which animal students have chosen to study, but not tell their students what the other classroom is learning about. “It’s a secret.”
Guided by their teachers, students will research information about the animal each of them has chosen and create clues to share with their partner-class during a live two-way interactive television/video connection.
Students will keep the animal a secret from their partner classes! The clues provided by each site will give help to the other class determine what your animal is that goes with all the clues!
