Wetlands

Wetlands Food Web

There are many organisms that are apart of salt marshes or wetlands. Toward the bottom of the food web lies bacteria and decomposing plants which act as the decomposers in the food web. The producers are the algae. The algae gets eaten by zoo plankton and snails which are primary consumers. Small fish eat the primary consumers, which in turn are making them the secondary consumers. Snakes, large fish, and herons are tertiary consumers.
