Different punishments for the same crime?
Laws 197 and 199 clearly state opposing views on the same crime. Hopefully people don't think I am crazy when I say most slaves do not choose to be slaves so why treat them any differently? Are they not still human?
Getting punished for failing an operation?
It seems crazy that a doctor should live with that pressure of failing and getting his hand cut off. Without a hand there is a lot of less job opportunities so you basically get rid of his job and any other job possibilities in the future. Plus what if he has a disease that we don't know how to cure it yet?
