Wanda Gray Newsletter
April 2018
Message from Mrs. Carder
Here we are on 4th quarter! Time sure flies when you are having fun! We have been busy working hard to prepare students for end of year assessments and planning the end of year events. Keep watching social media and notes on upcoming events. The end of the year is busy and fun!
Thank you to everyone that turned in parent input forms. We will begin working on next year's placement and schedules soon. Summer many times brings changes in staff and new students so it is a work in progress.
The last day of school is May 22 and we will dismiss at 1:00. If your child is attending the first session of Explore it will begin June 5.
I hope each child enjoys the last few weeks of school and stay safe as they play more outside.
Leaders of the Month
Here are the Leaders of the Month! Congratulations!
Order Your Yearbook
The yearbook orders must be done on line and the due date is April 12. Here is the link!
MAP Dates
The MAP window for Gray is April 23-May 2. Classrooms are scheduling days and times they plan to test. Be sure to review that information and send your child prepared on those dates. Students testing should eat a good breakfast, bring healthy snacks and a water bottle, get enough rest, and come with a good attitude! This is the time for students to show what they know! Encourage your child to relax and do their best!
Teacher and Staff of the Month
Congratulations to these two wonderful educators and people: Karen Evans and Tiffany Waisner. Ms. Evans is a 2nd grade teacher who does great things for her students and Mrs. Waisner is our library clerical and Club Encore tutor and she is so kind and helpful to all.
