Facts

-Yarrow is a white or pink flower that grows in bunches at the top of the stem with leaves lower on the stem

-perennial

-blooms in the summer

-needs full light exposure

-prefers dry hot soil so regular watering is not necessary

-drought resistant and can tolerate high heat

-fertilizer is not usually needed

-usually grows from .2-1 meter high, plant 12-18 inches apart

-separate in the spring every other year

-for propagation seeds should be planted only 6 cm bellow the surface so they can receive sunlight

-some species of the plant can become invasive

-growing tip: plant in dry soil about a foot apart and separate every other spring
