MSA Technical Conference Update
October 4, 2018
#Pridein5
Our superintendent, Dr. Melton, created the twitter hashtag #pridein5 as a way or means to recognize and celebrate the work or our system, our schools, our students, and our community. There are many reasons for pride in our system and that was definitely the case during the MSA Technical Conference.
Dr. Hefner, 2018 National Superintendent of the Year and recent retired D5 superintendent, provided a remarkable opening keynote for attendees. We had several sister schools present over the last two days and provided great insights in the work of magnet schools at their respective sites.
Today, Dr. Melton delivered an inspiration keynote for attendees that highlighted magnet school efforts in our system but also encourage everyone to learn with and from each other for the benefit of students across our country.
