Varsity Lady Panthers Extend February Run to 4 Straight Ws
Colleyville Heritage continued its first run through the 6-5A schedule with strong performances against Richland, Denton, Denton Ryan, and Northwest.
The Lady Panthers clawed their way to a 3-0 shutout against the Royals to open February. Allie Love and Olivia Belcher combined for 3 goals and Liz Flores turned in the clean sheet victory. Alex Whitcraft had 2 assists.
On Monday, Heritage traveled north to Denton to take on the Broncos in a rescheduled match due to inclement weather. Buoyed by braces from Alex Whitcraft and Olivia Belcher, the Lady Panthers cruised to a 5-0 halftime lead en route to a 6-1 victory. Allie Love and Gabi Gipson also found the back of the net for CHHS.
The Panthers returned home on Tuesday and slammed Denton Ryan 5-1. Allie Love recorded a "haul" with four goals and was joined on the scoresheet by Alex Whitcraft for the Lady Panthers 3rd straight win.
Friday, CHHS took to the pitch and defeated a feisty Northwest team 4-1. Anna Sugg scored on a header to put the Panthers on the board first , but Northwest immediately equalized off a corner kick. From that point it was all Panthers. Olivia Belcher smashed her 10th of the year and Ryleigh Adams answered with her 6th. Justine Pfeiffer finished off the scoring with a goal off an Adams corner kick and the Panthers emerged victorious for the 4th consecutive time.
CHHS sits in 3rd place with 13 points and visit 2nd place Birdville on Tuesday in a pivotal District 6-5A match.
The JV Lady Panthers had two wins this week and were unstoppable!
They had a 1-0 win over Denton Ryan with a gorgeous upper right-hand corner goal made by #11 Rilee Kaspar.
On Friday night, they dominated over Northwest with a 3-0 win! Goals made by #13 Natalee Noland and #24 Amy Escobedo. The opponents couldn't get past our unstoppable goalkeeper Zoe Robinson. Great job, Lady Panthers!!

Paxton Ulrich 3rd place, State Qualifier
Todd Hounchell 4th place, State Qualifier
Jordyn Valdez 5th place (State Alternate)
The Girls team also competed at the Regional Tournament. The two girls that went to the tournament both won a match, and had a great experience. These girls will be back next year for sure!

Alle Collins-Williams 1 win 2 losses
Good luck to the wrestlers moving on to the state tournament!
