Dear Cavalier Families,
I hope that you were able to spend the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday peacefully and reflecting on all of his intentions. From his famous "I have a Dream" speech, these sentences have always stood out to me.
So even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.
It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day
this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths
to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.
Our staff had a meaningful retreat last Friday after school. We were able to learn more about each other and reaffirm why we are in the field of education and working with all of your extraordinary children. That afternoon let me know just how much our staff is committed to educating, nurturing, and preparing your children so that they can have the financial security that is often obtained by achieving in high school to lead to a successful college or career pathway. That is our mission. We know that you share the same sentiment in the value of obtaining a quality education.
This week's announcements.
