Big picture

The RCS Music Department & School District is thrilled to announce that Junior Alivia Ortiz has been selected for the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Conference All-State Festival! Ms. Ortiz will be singing Alto I in the All-State Mixed Chorus. Selected for this prestigious honor based on her perfect NYSSMA score last year, her achievements don’t stop there, to learn more visit the link below!

Best of luck, Alivia!!!!

Recently, 7th-grade technology students in Mr. Bevington's class have been putting their collaboration and problem-solving skills to work! They were challenged to create a structure that could hold as much weight as possible while only using paper, paperclips, tape, a little bit of cardboard, scissors, and a ruler. The students put their heads together to think creatively about the goal. Congratulations to Haiqua U., Alexa A., and Maizey B., who designed a structure that was able to hold 25 pounds, a class record!!
