Weekly Update

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who took the time to meet with their child's classroom teacher. We enjoyed speaking with all of you about your wonderful children. Feel free to reach out at anytime should you have additional questions regarding your child's academic progress.

Remote learners will be able to pick up their Halloween bag beginning on Wednesday, October 28th. Please make sure to get your child's bag before Friday, October 30th so your child can participate in the festivities with their classmates. Remote Learners - Citizen of the Day

Parents of remote learners, please complete this form (with your student's help and input!) so that she or he may be featured as the Gates Mills Citizen of the Day at some point this school year!

In-person learners have completed a paper copy of this questionnaire at school.

Safety First

Just a friendly reminder that car riders should exit on the passenger side of the car only! We don't want our student walking behind or in front of any cars. Thanks for helping to keep all of our students safe!

Also, our buses will continue to keep a few windows open so that there is good ventilation throughout the bus. You may want to be sure your child has a sweatshirt or coat in case it gets chilly on the bus.

Special - Physical Education

Specials will look a little different at Gates Mills now that we are offering an in-person and remote learning option. Specialists will spend an entire quarter at Gates Mills. This will not change the specials rotation calendar which is listed below. Students will still have special on their assigned grade level day.

Quarter 1: Music (Mr. Hall)

Quarter 2: Physical Education (Mr. Myers)

Quarter 3: Art (Mrs. Christopher)

Quarter 4: PBL (Mr. Roy)
