Our Falcon N.E.S.T. meeting last Thursday produced a great list of specific items and needs for our upcoming Fall Festival. Check out the list below to see if there is anything you can donate or help with to make this night fun for everyone!

-Bags of candy

-Cans of soda

-Cakes or Cupcakes for our Cake Walk Activity (store-bought is preferred)

-Halloween decorations such as: lights, fake or real pumpkins (fake is preferred so we can reuse!), and small buckets to hold candy at each station

We are also looking for volunteers in a few different areas! If you are interested in signing up to help out at the Fall Festival, please click on the LINK BELOW!

The Book Fair will also be open during the Fall Festival! We do ask that students be with an adult while they are shopping to help Ms. Madden with supervision.

Finally, we will have a clothing swap happening in our FLE Gym during Fall Festival! If you have gently used, clean clothes to exchange, donate, or if you are looking for something for your student, come on down! This is a focus on clothes and winter gear, so no toys or other items please. You do not need to bring something to take something!

Students must wear tennis shoes in the gym for PE. It is preferred and recommended that students have a pair of tennis shoes that are left in their classrooms and reserved for indoor use. However, I understand that may not be feasible for all. I am asking students to please wipe off any dirt, rocks, or water from their shoes prior to coming to PE. I know it is the time of year when many students will be wearing boots to school. Boots will not be permitted for PE. Boots are less safe, and they also track in a lot of dirt, rocks, and water. Those elements make our gym floor less safe as well. Students who only have boots will need to sit out that day. This has been the rule at FLE and is common practice for gym floors. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

We are working on plans for the upcoming holiday time, and we want to make sure we get information to you in a timely manner. While we don't have ALL of the details worked out for everyone just yet, here are some dates to put on your calendar:

December 15th: Ms. Gerard and Ms. Zagyva's Preschool Classes will have a concert during the school day! More information will come from the teachers :)

December 19th & 20th: Dress rehearsals during specials for the K-5 performance. You are WELCOME to attend on either of these days if the 21st does not work for you and your family.

December 21st: The performance day! K-5 will have their concerts during their specials time as outlined below. Parents with students in multiple grades are welcome to remain in the building while the transitions occur.
