Learning Liaison's Corner
Department Learning Leaders spent the week visiting each other’s PLC’s and all I can say is WOW! As the Learning Liaison, one of my main responsibilities is to oversee PLC’s. Our history at CTMS is that we have done this many different ways - but this year, my goal is to lead by supporting and empowering DLL’s! Alex, Angela and Brendon have been AMAZING in their support of our vision for PLC shift this year. Your Admin team has been in alignment with how we want to see PLC’s function. My goals this year are to pour into DLL’s. Wolves- our DLL’s are AMAZING! Truly incredible! I am thankful and blessed with their leadership. I love that our DLL’s model what it is to be life-long learners! The learning, sharing, thinking and discussion this week translate into growth and positivity and ultimately the BEST PLC’s in the district!

Housekeeping
- Teachers with ELL support. Please remember that our ELL paraprofessionals have received new training on how to best support our ELLs. Please work with them as they employ these new strategies.
- Please make sure you have two grades per week. It is really hard to justify to parents that a student is failing when in there aren't a sufficient number of grades to represent the score.
